Also for promoting economic growth, balanced regional development and widening of entrepreneurial base by financing small enterprises. GSFC a premier, regional development bank set up by Government of Gujarat, to provide finance to new industrial units, for acquisition of Fixed Assets, Expansion, Modernization, Diversification, Renovation etc. The Industrial concern must set up in the state of Gujarat and the Union Territories of Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Gujarat State Financial Corporation  as Pioneer Term lending and grass root level developmental financial institution in the State of Gujarat. It is catering to the demands of SSIs and to some extent MSIs from the seed bed since its inception from post independence era.
